Import from Ulysses

Notejoy makes it easy to import your existing sheets from Ulysses as notes in Notejoy.

To import from Ulysses:

  • First, export your sheets from Ulysses. Create a new folder on your computer to export your sheets into. Then select all the sheets in Ulysses that you want to export. Drag them to the new folder you just created on your computer. This will generate markdown files for each of your sheets.
  • From Notejoy, select Import Notes from the user menu in the bottom-left corner
  • Select the target notebook for the import by clicking the notebook name in the header
  • Where it says "Choose files, a folder, or drag here", click on "folder". Then select the folder you exported your Ulysses sheets into.
