Import from Dropbox Paper

Notejoy makes it easy to import your existing documents from Dropbox Paper as notes in Notejoy.

To import from Dropbox Paper:

  • First, export your docs from Dropbox Paper. From Dropbox Paper, click your user avatar and then select "Download docs you created". Choose markdown as the format. This will download a zip file to your computer. Extract the zip file to a folder.
  • From Notejoy, select Import Notes from the user menu in the bottom-left corner
  • Select the target notebook for the import by clicking the notebook name in the header
  • Where it says "Choose files, a folder, or drag here", click on "folder". Then select the folder you exported your docs into.

If you have organized your Dropbox Paper docs into sub-folders, each sub-folder will need to be selected and imported individually.
