How do I enable third-party cookies?

Notejoy requires third-party cookies to be enabled in your web browser to utilize the following features:

  • Web clipper
  • Note embeds
  • Google Drive integration
  • Trello integration
  • HubSpot integration

If you find that you cannot login from these integrations, it means third-party cookies are currently disabled.

Whitelist Notejoy

The following steps guide you through whitelisting Notejoy to use third-party cookies in your browser.

Chrome

  • Navigate to the following settings page: Chrome -> Preferences -> Privacy and security -> Cookies and site data
  • Under "Sites that can always use cookies", click Add
  • Add "notejoy.com"
  • Add "accounts.google.com"
  • Add "docs.google.com"

Firefox

  • Navigate to the following settings page: Firefox -> Preferences -> Privacy & Security
  • Under Cookies and Site Data, click Manage Exceptions...
  • Type in "notejoy.com" and select Allow
  • Type in "accounts.google.com" and select Allow
  • Type in "docs.google.com" and select Allow
  • Select Save Changes

Edge

  • Navigate to the following settings page: Microsoft Edge -> Preferences -> Privacy, Search, and Services
  • Under Tracking prevention, click Exceptions
  • Add "notejoy.com"
  • Add "accounts.google.com"
  • Add "docs.google.com"

Safari

Safari does not offer a way to whitelist specific domains.

Enable third-party cookies

The following steps guide you through enabling third-party cookies for all sites.

Chrome

  • Navigate to the following settings page: Chrome -> Preferences -> Privacy and security -> Cookies and other site data
  • Select "Allow all cookies"

Safari

  • Navigate to the following settings page: Safari -> Preferences -> Privacy
  • Ensure "Prevent cross-site tracking" is disabled

Firefox

  • Navigate to the following settings page: Firefox -> Preferences -> Privacy & Security
  • Select "Standard" security

Edge

  • Navigate to the following settings page: Microsoft Edge -> Preferences -> Privacy, Search, and Services
  • Select "Balanced" tracking prevention
