Why do I constantly see a "something went wrong" error?

If you are constantly seeing a "something went wrong" error in the top-right corner of Notejoy as soon as you come to Notejoy, this means that Notejoy has been unable to establish a web socket connection with Notejoy's servers.

This is usually caused by security, VPN, or ad blocker software that you have installed on your machine or on your network that is preventing web socket connections from being established.

Please review the security, VPN, and ad blocker software that you may have installed and either whitelist notejoy.com for using web sockets or temporarily disable the software to see if Notejoy starts to work again. You may also need to contact your network administrator or internet provider to ensure they allow web socket connections.
