When I search for a term in Notejoy, I must use the exact word to get a match. For example, if I have a note containing the word “extended,” then searching for “extend” does not yield a match. I know there’s a balance to be struck here, because I don’t like it when other note-taking apps are so lenient with the search terms that I might get far more results that I’m looking for, which is another extreme that also makes it difficult to find what I intend to search for. I think doing some simple stemming “-s,” “-ed,” etc. would go a long way. And/or a prefix match, like “the-“ for “them.”
